A Personal & Professional Journey into Healing
My journey into counselling began with my own struggles with mental health. For over 20 years, I lived with anxiety, feeling trapped in a cycle I couldn’t break. Everything changed when I found a therapist and a way of working that helped me not just manage but truly understand and overcome my challenges.
That experience was life-changing—it showed me what’s possible and ignited my passion to help others navigate their own path to healing.
To turn this passion into something tangible, I pursued formal training in counselling and psychotherapy, beginning with a Diploma of Counselling through AIPC and completing the Internal Family Systems (IFS) Online Circle Program. From there, I continued expanding my skills, diving into approaches that align with my belief in addressing the deeper layers of the mind. I am now in my final year of a Bachelor of Counselling, working toward a Diploma of Art Therapy, and I have completed training in Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT Tapping), adding more creative tools to my practice.
My Approach
I take a person-centred, integrative approach to therapy, supporting children, adolescents, and adults through life’s challenges. My work focuses on the subconscious mind, utilizing techniques such as:
✔ Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) Tapping
✔ Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy
✔ Play Therapy
✔ Art Therapy
These methods allow clients to explore their inner world, process emotions, and resolve deep-seated patterns in a way that feels both empowering and deeply personal.
I am a registered Australian Counselling Association (ACA) Member.
Through my work, I strive to create a safe and compassionate space where clients feel supported, heard, and empowered to move toward self-awareness, healing, and growth.
